In todays society it is increasingly more challenging to focus. Even job descriptions call for potential employees to have the ability to multitask yet call for them at the same time to maintain focus or the new buzz word to be mindful. It is all so confusing. Focus aka mindfulness is a good thing on both professional and personal levels. At work the ability to delve into details and get your job done in an efficient, effective and successful way requires focus, multitasking is not efficient nor effective! As a mom moments with your children (and grand children) are fleeting!!! Instead of checking your e-mail while playing at the park put the phone away be with your kids, kids be with your parents!! Plan time with family and friends where technology is put in the box while you celebrate precious time together. Talk, laugh, live and enjoy the company of the people you love. Finally take time to focus on you!! Read a book, go for a walk, do something you love, garden, write, sing! Its not being selfish! When the best you shows up for work, friends and family everyone benefits!! Heres to being fearless, focused and fabulous!!!
